HI, i am wanting to start eating healty and lose weight, im going to workout when i can but i have two babies and not much free time. I need to start from the very beginning like how many calories should itake in a day, how much milk water juice should i drink. Anything and everything pretty much. Im going to start a food log book on wht i eat and drink i have never done that so im not sure how to go about it.
The food diary is a very good idea. You would note down any food or drink that you use, the time and the amounts. Any snacks would also be included.
You should use water as your main liquid except for your morning tea/coffee. Juices and sodas have in a lot of sugar.
Increase the use of fruits and vegetables, including one or both of these as a snack.
There are 2 main types of diet, low fat/low calorie diet and low carbohydrate diet. You can determine which one would best suit you , information and menus on each is available online.
You do not need to exercise for 1/2 hour to hour at a time but if you have a 10 minute period during the day, use this time to exercise.
It would have been appericiated if your height weight have been available. Take diet low in fat and simple carbohydrates. Small and frequent meals. Sprouts thrice a weak , take salads daily twice. Take fruits in morning only no juices. Channa murmura thrice a weak. Have more fibre in diet. Use skim milk twice a day. Curds and buttermilk daily. Walk 40-45 mins daily.take 7-8 meals a day. Lot of water. Avoid fried foods. Do not overeat. Stop eating more of oil. No use of fatty foods. Consult dietitian with your height weight and diet routine to guide u more effective.
