Hello doctor, I am 5weeks pregnant and I have diabetes Right now I am on insulin morn 16units night 12 units though I am following a very strict diet and walking for 30 minutes a day my fasting sugars are like this day1=156 Day2 =148,ppbs=205 Day3=139,161 Day4=157,188 Day5=165,200 I am almost on raw diet, like salads, boiled moon, cickpeas and lot of vegetables, what should I do to reduce my sugar levels specially FBS

Hi, I think you should increase the dose of insulin. Consult an endocrinologist and adjust the insulin dose according to the sugar levels. Get a HbA1c level done. If it is very high, the risk of congenital defect in the fetid is very high. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
