Suggest Ways To Manage Interfering, Overly-observant And Inquisitive Behavior From Neighbor

Hi. My next door neighbour is very nosey. I often see him checking my back yard. He will stand on a ladder or some other object to see over the fence. Every time I see him drive by my house he is looking at me or my property. He often asks very personal questions about me and my family. I think he wants to portray himself as the block senior/neighbourhood watch type person but I am finding it more and more creepy as he is usually laughing when I see him do these things. I have been avoiding and ignoring him for about one year but that s not working too well. How should I react to this guy and maybe get him to act like a normal person? He is 72 years old and I am a 59 year old male.

Your nosy neighbor seems like a too much extrovert person. You can talk to a psychologist first and explain about your problem. They will give you some ideas to tackle with your neighbor. Moreover, you can also convince him and take him to the psychologist to explain him about your apprehensions. If everything fails and your neighbor is troubling you constantly, then you need to take the help of police.
