Suggest Ways To Manage Pain When Diagnosed With Severe Gastritis

I was diagnosed with severe gastritis over a month ago, the pain is horrible, I have lost over 40 pounds, can t eat, plus i noticed that lately when it gets really bad my heart starts racing and palpataions occur. is this normal? and is there anything i can do to get rid of this gastritis?

Hi,

If it gastritis caused by a bacteria (can be diagnosed on gastroscopy or breath test) you should have eradication therapy with antibiotics. If not, try 4-8 weeks of pantoprazole or similar proton pump inhibitor.
