Hi,
You seem to have
constipation and there are a few things to do to help with it:
- make sure you take fiber with diet taking plenty of fruit and vegetables especially prunes.
- make sure you drink plenty of water during the day, at least 2 liters a day
- be active and be involved in exercise regularly
- avoid bread and pasta or take them in small amounts as they make constipation worse
- you may take some fiber supplements from the pharmacy,
metamucil or movicol to take daily and help with the bowel movement.
- if these do not help enough you can take medications to help like
lactulose syrup 1-2 tablespoons a day for 1 week or so
- if no improvement with any of these or any worsening please see your doctor.
