Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am diabetic and 62 years of age. I have been prescribed 20 mg of metformin, 10mg in morning and 10 in evening. I also take 120 mg Diamicron in the mornings. My glucose readings in the mornings are usually high (Between 8.5 to 10.0). I take my evening meal around 6pm and have hot lemon drink before bed. Daytime reading are good. My last Hb1C, taken in April was 7.0. Please advise what should I do to get my morning glucose to below the 7.0 range. Thank you. Abdul Hafiz
