The best investigation for the female genital system is pelvic MRI.

Did you give the sonographer your past surgical history of hysterectomy? As since you have had hysterectomy done, hydrosalpinx should be unlikely.

A trans-vaginal ultrasound should give better characterization of this cyst. The ultrasound appearance also can suggest the nature of this cyst, whether its suspicious, or nothing to worry about.

In case ultrasound results were questionable, pelvic MRI should be considered.

Feel free to to iconsult about any further concerns.
Regards.
