Suggest Ways To Stop The Addiction Of Self Harming

I self harm by strangling myself. I push it right until I almost pass out, until my lower body starts to tingle. I know any strangulation is stupid and dangerous but I seem to need to push it further and further to get the emotional release I need. How do I stop, the addiction if you want to call it that is so strong. I have only been doing this for about 6 weeks and not everyday. how far is to far and how do I stop

I see, that you are going through a strong emotional storm & trying to find way out by doing the harmful act.

Please understand its no use doing the useless thing. It may harm you , but not going to seek attention of some one you wish to.

Try to take hold of the psychological havoc & be strong to set it right/ get away from it.

A strong determination would make it possible . You acn try mind concentration exercises , increase strength of mind yourself OR can take help of a psychotherapist.
