My husband has been on Lyrica 100 bid for several months for neuropathy. He is trying to taper off due to significant swelling. He is currently tapered to100 mg every other day. When and how should he continue to taper off... What dose should he taper to next and when? Email YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Lyrica is having pregabalin. It is used for neuropathy. At present, he is taking 100mg alternate day. So taper down to 50mg alternate day for 1 week.

Then taper down to 50mg every 3 days for 1 week. Then taper down to 50mg once a week for 2 weeks and then SOS (as and when required).
