Suggest Ways To Wean Off Seroquel
A friend has been taking 400mg of Seroquel daily for four years...he wants to stop taking it, I warned him it would be dangerous to stop taking it cold turkey...what is a safe taper to wean off of Seroquel??...he s been on various doses for the past 11 years. Also on Wellbutrin 300mg once a day and has already started weaning off of that. Wants to know how to wean off of these meds safely? I am a nurse but in a specialized field and don t remember much about psych drugs other than stopping abruptly can be dangerous.

as per your concern sudden stop will cause withdrawal syndrom..
best way to withdrawal is 10% reduction of doses per month...so that tour nervous system get time to adapt that low dase and withdrawal symptoms will not occur..
