Suggestion Of Medication For A Lump After Blood Test

hi I had a blood test today first in my arm but blood was slow to come out and nurse worked to try and fill required bottles unfortunately not enough so she went into my arm on same side I have noticed just above the injection site I have a lump and hand is very painful

Hi, thanks for sharing your health concerns with HCM!
In such cases of traumatic needle puncture or hematoma formation, generally I advise followings:

1. do not rub it

2. apply pressure for 30 mitutes

3. apply ice for comfort

4. use heparin gels for dissolution of the clot

5. take pain killers if the pain is not relieved

6. if still not relieved within 2/3 days, antibiotics, aspiration and even physiotherapy required!
