Suggestion To Control The Blood Sugar Without Using Pump
my husband is on the pump but it seemed to have stopped working during the day his blood sugar was at 367 at 4:55 pm today he said he took the pump off and gave himself a shot of 18 units of lantus at 5:25 pm his blood sugar only came down to 357 at 5:40pm his blood sugar is only down to 321

Dear madam I understand your concern.this kind of pump failure is very rare and you should be always keep a back up lantus and novorapid injections.
in my opinion 18 units of lantus will not work for his total daily requirements.
i need some information to fix his dose
what is his age,height,weight
what is duration of diabetes
per day how much insulin he was using previously with pump
with this information i can fix his dose
