hi..thanks for the query!
Hair Loss is a condition where multiple causes ,deficiencies exist and without doing a complete work up ,it it unwise to start any random medication. The commonest causes of hair loss are :
1)Androgenetic pattern hair loss: Mostly familial, although sometimes family history is not very significant. The age of onset can be very early as well.
2)Telogen effluvium: is a form of nonscarring
alopecia characterized by diffuse hair shedding, often with an acute onset. A chronic form with a more insidious onset and a longer duration also exists. Telogen effluvium is caused by a metabolic or
hormonal stress or by medications.
My suggestion to you would be to do a few blood tests to ascertain the cause before you treat any of the symptoms.
Dandruff has no permanent solution.it has to be an on and off treatment and you are using
Ketoconazole shampoo which is one of the best available therapies.
You can start taking
Biotin tablets for hairless meanwhile .
Hope this helps..take care!
