Surgery Cancelled Due To Altered Blood Test Report. Can You Explain The Reason?
I have just been removed from a surgery list due to some issues with my blood results my results were as follows:-
Haemoglobin 96 g/L
White blood cells 6.9
Platelets 297
Red blood cells 3.97
Haematocrit 0.333 ratio
Mean Cell volume 83.9 fl
Mean Cell heamglobin 24.2 pg
MCHC 288 g/L
Are these results really low and do I need to worry about it also how long will this effect the issue of not being able to have surgery ??? Please help
well ur complete haemogram report telling that u are suffering from anaemia. ur mcv is normal so it not megaloblastic anarmia.but ur mch is below nor mal level it should be 27-31pg, so u are suffering from hypochromic anaremia.wbc are platelet counts are within normal range .but as u have mentioned that u have recorvered from surgical procedure ,so it can be expected that ur hb level might remain below normal. it will take some time to reach to the normal level.so do not worry, take health diet rich in iron and protein ,take adequate rest.within a montrh it will come to normal.
