Suspecting Phimosis As There Is Tightness Of Foreskin. How To Treat This Condition?
Hello Sir, I'm 26 year old virgin. My penis foreskin is very tight. i came across the condition called phimosis. Whether its erect or not it doesn't go back. i started it to pull back, but there is some progress. how long does it take to completely come back. I'm getting married soon so worried about it. also till how much the foreskin must be stretched back? Please help me.
The phimosis is likely to be due to Prepucial adhesions to glans because of inflammation due to irritant effect of the secretions known as smegma.
I encounter many such cases. My protocol of management is as below
1. Hot Seitz bath-- Sitting for 15-20 minutes in warm water tub with handful of salt added. Retract prepuce as much as possible and manipulation of skin by slowly pulling it under water and washing/cleaning the smegma(whitish secretion).
2. After Seitz bath i instruct them to clean and dry the parts. Slowly retract the Prepuce as much as you can and apply Betnovate Ointment( Betamethasone Ointment)
Repeat this procedure two times a day and by 3 weeks you should see lot of improvement in it.
Do get back to me if you have any other query
