Swelling And Heaviness In Left Side Of Face, Pain When Pressing The Jaw, Pain In Neck. Detected Swollen Lymph Nodes Due To Throat Infection. No Cough. Suggest

Hi ,
The left side of my face feels heavy and swollen . When i press the area on my jaw ( in front of my ear) it pains .
I visited the doc and he said that lymph nodes are swollen due to a throat infection although i did not cough much or have anything severe. I had anti biotics for 5 days and the pain has reduced but it still feels heavy on that side .
I am not sure what to do ? It feels tight and heavy !
Also i have been having sudden pain around and on my ear . I sit on my laptop the entire day due to work and have also have neck pain. My ears feel slightly shut and whenever yawn it opens up .Also i hear a slight cracking noise from time to time.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUERY

HEAVINESS AND FACIAL PAINS MAY SUGGEST ACUTE RHINOSINUSITIS, CAUSING EUSTACHIAN TUBE BLOCKADE LEADING TO EAR COMPLAINS.

TAKE TOPICAL STEROIDAL NASAL SPRAY LIKE MOMETASONE NASAL SPRAY TWICE A DAY
ALSO TAKE ANTI HISTAMINICS LIKE LEVOCET.

AS YOU HAVE HEAD ACHE AND FACIAL PAINS, YOU NEED TO ADD ANTI INFLAMMATORY DRUG LIKE TAB CHYMORAL PLUS OR EMANZEN DP.

AVOID ALLERGENS LIKE POLLENS, SMOKE, DUST, POLLUTION ETC
AVOID SMOKING AND ALCOHOL

TAKE PROTEIN AND VITAMINE RICH DIET.

MANY THANKS TAKE CARE.
BYE.
