Swelling In Finger Joint, Stiffness, Hot To Touch. Specialist Advise?

hi my friend currently developed this finger joint swollen symptom, which is getting worse. her joints are stiff and hot, she has been seeing GP but shes not getting any answer, hope you can help us, if there are any specialist around you can direct us to, it would be great. or any other advice will be appreciated.
