Swelling In My Leg After Hit By Bat,bruise

My 4 year old son accidentally hit me in the shin with a baseball bat. There was a bump where it hit, and that went down after a day or so. Now, there s some swelling in my leg from the point where the bat hit my leg down to my ankle . There s bruising where the bat hit my leg, but the rest of the swollen area is just a little swollen.
