Swelling In Right Testicle, Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen. History Of Weak Kidneys. Due To Orchitis?
dear doctor, my right testicle is swollen out of the blue. I feel sharp pain on my lower abs and my kidney and waist also feel pain when i try to hold pee. I have a couple questions : 1. Is orchitis the cause 2. what are medication/anitbiotic required? 3.Is it connected to kidney disease? I may have a weak kidney ever since i was i kid and i urinated frequently even until now. Thanks doctor
1. Yes sir, this could be orchitis, but it can only be confirmed after an examination by a doctor.
2. Treatment includes:
-Antibiotics (only if it is caused by an infection)
-Anti-inflammatory medication
-Bed rest
-Pain management
-Elevation of the scrotum
-Ice pack to the affected area
3. Orchitis is associated with congenital renal and urinary problems (among others)
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
