Swelling On The Lip Getting Bigger. Have Tingling Feeling. What Is It?

I have a rapidly growing swelling that is firm to the touch on my upper lip . It is flesh colored and has a small dry spot in the center. The center is slightly indented. It doesn t hurt or itch , but it has grown from nothing to the size of a peanut in about 8 days. Now it is tingling a little. The skin has a round, raised edge and is smooth. It is bigger every day I wake up. What can this be?

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You have developed an allergic condition called as angioedema.

Probably you are allergic to a particular food or any cosmetic.

Apply a mild steroid lotion like desonide,

Also take an antihistamine tablet.

This will give you some relief.

Treatment with oral steroids might be required.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
