Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tingling sensation in lower lips which could be due to many reasons associated with numbness and tingling sensation like initial stage of bell's palsy, atherosclerosis (deposition of fat in blood vessels) , multiple sclerosis , diabetes and vitamin deficient. I would suggest you to start low dose steroid immediately. Consult doctor for perfect diagnosis and to find out exact cause. Doctor may perform physical examination and take history in special reference to nervous system. For now give gentle massage to your lips with olive oil or almond oil and take half spoon of cinnamon powder in glass of water to improve blood flow. You should go for complete blood tests , CT scan Or MRI of brain and get it treated accordingly.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...
As per your complain tingling in lips could have been due to allergic reaction of thefood that you took leading to tingling sensation in lips.. As of today the tingling and numbness in chin could be due to any allergic reaction to any food or medicine or any insect/ bug bite. You can take an anti allergic medication like Levocetrizine and do warm compresses.. If still it does not resolve consult a Neurologist and get evaluated for any nerve related problems..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
