Swollen Right Ankle Bone, Tingly Legs, Bruises On Knees And Thigh, Pain In Knee. History Of Nerve Damage In Arms And Legs From Surgery. Normal?
I have nerve damage in my arms & legs frm havin survgery in 2006 for chiari malformation & a cyst inside my spinal cord. I woke up the smorn & my right ankle bone is swollen but ther is no pain in my ankle. My leg is feeling a lot more tingly then usual & ther is 4 medium sizebruises on the right side of my knee & 4 little ones on rite side of my upper thigh. My knee is really aching too. I did not hit it or bump it or fall or anything like that!? Is it normal?
All your symptoms are definitely not normal. The swelling & rash could due to an allergic reaction to any insect bite or sting during your sleep.
Try an antihistamine preparation for 2-3 days and if its not improving or is worsening , then immediately consult your family physician for further workup and management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
