Symptoms Of A Staph Infection In The Bloodstream..

I have been having some medical problems that have been progressing for months. I have had many medical tests ran and they cannot figure out what s wrong. I have had skin lesions for months and they treated me for ringworm and then for a bacteria staph infection, but its been months and some lesions have cleared up but others have remained and more have come... they have never tested the lesions, just diagnosed them by sight. What are the symptoms of a staph infection in the bloodstream that has gone untreated? Could these lesions be causing me other internal issues?

Hi,

We apologize for the delay in answering you. Thank you for asking us.

You need to see a dermatologist and get those lesions tested. You can get a biopsy done(punch biopsy), it would clinch the diagnosis and will help in treating you appropriately.

As for the symptoms of Staph infection in the blood stream, You will definitely be running high grade fever and will be very sick.

You can upload pictures of the lesions so that we would be in a better position to help you further.

Thank you again for choosing Healthcaremagic.

Regards.
