Symptoms Of Strong Smoke Small Trapped In Sinuses. Suggestion
Hello, my name is Sandi, The last 3 years I have been having symptoms of a strong smoke small trapped in my sinuses, when no one is smoking around me. It feels like someone is blowing smoke in my face even my eyes are affect. I have also had revolting small cheese balls that come from my sinuses above my mouth from time to time. Thank you
The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that you might be having Dysosmia.
It can be due to: 1. Upper respiratory tract infection in the form of common cold or sinus infection 2. Exposure to certain chemical 3. Some medications like metronidazole 4. Poor oral hygiene 5. Migraine 6. Depression, anxiety, etc.
So, it will be better to consult an ENT specialist & get a proper physical examination done to rule out any organic lesion or any other cause in nose or throat. Investigations like complete blood count and X ray of paranasal sinus will be helpful.
There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Wishing you a good health. Thanks & take care.
