Hi. Welcome to HCM. Valium contains diazepam and is used for the short-term relief of symptoms of excessive anxiety or alcohol withdrawal (such as agitation). It is also used for the reduction of muscle spasms.Diazepam is normally used for a short period of time or as required. It may be habit-forming when taken for long periods of time. You have been using this medication regularly for a long period of time (i.e., more than 1 month), it is not good and do not stop using the medication without speaking with your doctor. To avoid withdrawal effects, a gradual reduction in dose is usually recommended when stopping this medication. Ambien contains zolpidem and is used to treat sleep problems (insomnia) in adults. If you have trouble falling asleep, it helps you fall asleep faster. This medication also may cause withdrawal reactions, especially if it has been used regularly for a long time or in high doses. In such cases, withdrawal symptoms may occur if you suddenly stop using this medication. I dont know y these medications are prescribed for u for long time. Better be carefull and consult your doctor regarding this. All d best
