Taking Bisoprolol, Imdapamide. Have ED. Conflict With Medicines And Viagra

I am taking the following for my blood pressure: Bisoprolol Fumarate 5mg, Imdapamide 2.5mg, Perindopril 16mg,75mg, Aspirin 75mg, Diltiazem Hydrochloride 300mg, and Lansoprazole 30mg. My BP was checked this morning and was in the normal range for my age 53. I am suffering from slight ED and want to know if there is any conflict with this medication and Viagra.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about your ED though happy that together with medications, you have been able to achieve a normal blood pressure.

Bisoprolol is well known to cause ED. To me, instead of trying to take viagra to correct this problem, I will suggest that your doctor considers trying another medication that can help you attain your Blood pressure goals without this side effect. If it proves difficult, then using viagra should be considered.

Viagra is generally discouraged when taking nitrates for heart disease. Your list of medication posses no potential conflict taking viagra for now.
