Taking Cymbalta For Trigeminal Neuralgia. Itching And Hives After Estrogen Patch. Another Drug?

On Cymbalta for Trigeminal Neuralgia (face pain) been on it for about 6 years - within the last 2 months starting itching and broke out with hives (even had one on the left side of my lip). I was also on a estrogen patch which made the hives on my stomach bigger. I stopped the estrogen patch and the large hives went away, but am still getting small hives (comes out more when I sweat, shower) and still itch. Is there another drug I could take in its place?

Hi, it appears that you have some allergy or fungal infection. It could also be due to increase in pressure on the trigeminal nerve.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
