Taking Eltroxin, Omnacortil For Seizures. Normal BP. Suggested Dosage Of Medicine?

My mother TSh level is 0.01, t3 is 0.5 and t4 is 11.9, she used to take eltroxin 100 mcg 1 tab before breakfast and 5 mcg omna cortel, steroid after break fast, she is having some past seizure disorder problem in the pasts, , now pressure is normal. what dose of eltroxin and omna cortel you suggest pl?

Her thyroid status fairly ok as TSH is slightly on the lower side. You can get free t3 and freeT4 done and if high reduce the dosage 88 mcg of eltroxin. (Next time when you are getting thyroid function test of your mother always order for freeT3 freeT4 and TSH which is done in most of the labs. Omnacortil she must be getting for coexisting Addisons disease that is adrenal gland failure and 5mg of omnacortil is fair dosage and at this dosage adverse events related to long term corticosteroid intake is minimal. Do monitor her BP and blood sugar regularly and give her adequate calcium and vitamin D supplement.
