I have 6 months more interferon treatment to finish. I have not spoken to my oncologist or doctor yet. This query has just popped into my head. Mary.
Hi there, Interferons are basically proteins and in hemochromatosis there is slow accumulation of iron in the body. I donot think there is a any problem in continuing interferons and completing the course. It will not have any effect on the hemochromatosis which is a hereditary condition. Regards
