Taking Ixel, Blokium For Anxiety. Have Low Sexual Urge. Alternative?

Hi Doctor, I am taking medicament for anxiety, ixel 50mg two times per day, and i am taking also Blokium 50mg two per day because Ixell increasing the heart rate to 110, so for that i took blokium two per day, but i have a harsh in my skin and sexual life i don't have good irrection, so what is the alternative but in good price!!?

Hi,

Since Blokium (atenolol) is the likely cause of your erectile difficulty and you had to take it for Ixel (milnacipran) related issues, I suggest that you discuss with your doctor regarding changing Ixel to some other medicine for anxiety that suits you better. Buspirone would be a good alternative as it has no sexual side effects. Also, the dose of Blokium that you are taking appears to be too much higher than what should be needed to counter fast heart beat. Please also assess if the fast heart beat is due to Ixel or due to anxiety itself, which in my opinion, is a more likely possibility. If so, then rather than adding Blokium, hiking the dose of Ixel may help you better.
