Taking Metformin For Irregular Periods, Levothyroxine For Hypothyroidism. Nausea, Negative Pregnancy Test
I am currently taking metformin to help regulate my periods n ovulation as well as I take levothyroxine for hypothyrodism we are trying to conceive and I'm even taking prenatal vitamins as well as other vitamins prescribed by my Dr for defecincies. I've been extremely nauseous and I've taken 3 tests and they show negative could those meds show a false negative?
Hi, A home pregnancy test would give a better confirmation when performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine 3-7 days after a missed period. The medication you have been prescribed does not give a false negative or positive test. You may get a serum beta-hCG titre along with a trans-vaginal sonogram for a better conclusion in the current scenario. Hope you find this information useful. Good luck.
