Taking Qunipril. Have Dizziness After Running. Due To Medicine?

I have been taking Qunipril 10 mg daily for about 5 years...I take it once a day and have taking it at 8:00am in the morning. I enjoy running and I find that if I run at 5:30am I feel good but if I wait and run after work (around 4:00pm) I experience a light headedness/dizziness after only a minute or two running and need to stop. Could this be related to the time that I take the medication?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

Dizziness is not related to your medication Quinipril 10mg.

I suspect its due to either hypoglycemia during exercise or decreased blood flow to brain during running causing this.

Better you consult your treating physician and check your Hb% and B.P .

Regards,
Dr.SIVAYOGI.
