Taking Spiralactone For Acne. Is It Unsafe To Take When Trying To Get Pregnant?
I have been taking spiralactone for my acne, when i went back to my dermatologist for a refill he asked me if i was actively trying to get pregnant when i told him yes he refused to refill my script . Why didnt any other doctor see this as a big issue? Last november i had my tubes untied and no other doctor said anything to me they just wanted bloodwork results. So my question is ,,, is it really that big of a deal to be on this and get pregnent?

Hi, Spiralactones are given to treat hormonalAcne. It is contra indicated in pregnancy for the risk of Feminisation of a male foetus. So its going to be a great issue to cosume it by a woman who carries a male foetus. Please stop it if you are planning a pregnancy. You should consult a skin specialist for alternative &safe managment of acne Thank you.
