Taking Trinessa And Having Normal Periods. Got Periods Before Completing The Medications. Should I Start With A New Pack Or Continue With The Remaining?
Hello. I am currently taking Trinessa and have been for over a year. My periods are normally very regular. I accidentally took two light blue pills (Wed & Thurs) in the same day, so I didn't take a pill the next day (Thurs). I continued taking the pills regularly after that (Friday & Sat). On Saturday night I ate a very rich dinner with wine and vomited later that night. I didn't think anything of it until I woke up on Sunday with my period (even though I still have 7 dark blue pills before I should get it). Should I be concerned about an overdose? Should I continue to take my pills as scheduled or start a new pack? Thank you!

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
In case of vomiting with in 2 hour of pill intake results in loss of pill too, so that pill is considered like a missed pill.
As your periods are already started you need to start with new pack.
Taking two pill doesn't result in overdose, but affects regular hormonal variation in body. which results in irregular periods.
