Taking Amoxicillin And Clavulanate For Sinus Infection. Sore Throat, Brown Phlegm. How Long To Heal?
Dear Dr. Samuel,
I've had a sinus infection for about two months and now I'm taking an antibiotic med. It is amoxicillin and clavulanate pottasium tablets 875/125 mg. I've been taking two a day since Saturday evening, July 22nd and I'm not feeling much relief. I'm still stuffed up, I have a sore throat, I'm coughing brown phlegm, I can't smell anything and I've only got about half my taste buds working. How long do you think it will take before I feel better. I've got 12 left to take starting tomorrow, July 25th.

you have sinus infection for two months.
and you are on amoxicillin and clavulanate pottasium tablets 875/125 mg.
These all finding suggestive of Sinusitis with pharyngitis, please treat the sinus infection first only after sore throat may be treated. There fore best to consult the ENT specialist for better management.
