Taking Birth Control. Have Unprotected Sex. Pink Discharge. Am I Pregnant?

Hi, I m 15 years old, I am on birth control which I take regularly and my boyfriend and I usually have unprotected sex and he pulls out. Today when we were done, I wiped and there was a light pink liquid on the toilet paper. All websites are saying that I could possibly be pregnant. What do I do. We have been having sex for a little over a month now. I m so scared. What is your advice

Hello,

Spotting after the intercourse is not normal. The chances of conception are less as you have been regular with your pills. Yet, it is advisable to see a specialist as you have spotting. Pregnancy can occur when there is unprotected intercourse around the ovulation period. If you miss your next period, you should get a pregnancy test done. Please follow your doctor's instructions. Take care.

Look, your symptoms are indicative of side effects of the pill you are taking. It is nothing else.

But, for confirmation, you have to complete the course of your birth control pill. After that, wait for the bleeding.

Calculate the expected date of next period.

If you miss it, then you have to do a home pregnancy test. That is the only way to get confirmed.
