Taking Cirpralex And Sublinox. Burning Sensation In Arms And Legs, Diarrhea, Dry Mouth, Upset Stomach. Suggestions
I just started taking cirpralex. took 10 mg last night at 8:00 pm, fell asleep around 9:30 woke up with burning in legs and arms and when I went to bed I took my regular 10mg of sublinox - slept until about 3 am and have been up with burning sensation in legs and arms, diarrhea, drinking water for dry mouth, upset stomach and have had three cigarettes.
Cipralex contains escitalopram which is potent antidepressant drug. It may be possible that while initiating this drug, one may have symptoms like gastric upset and burning sensation over head or body. These symptoms usually wean of within some days.
If it persist or if it is causing severe problems, You should consult your psychiatrist. Doctor may reduce the dose or may change to other drug.
Thanks.
