Taking Cymbalta, Dizzy, Double Vision. Side Effect Of Cymbalta?
I am taking 60 mg of cymbalta. I have been dizzy and seeing double before taking cymbalta. But today my double vision got much worse while I was driving. The road lines split apart and it looked like the cars were coming right at me. The only way I could control it was to close my one eye. Do you thing the cymbalta is causing this or do you have any other suggestions. Rita Good
All medications have potential side effects. Cymbalta is associated with possible side effects such as nausea, dizziness, fatigue, headache.
It is not known to cause blurred vision though persons can react differently to medications. It would be best to consult your doctor regarding your symptoms.
You would need an examination of your vision and possibly imaging tests such as a CT scan of the brain.
Blurred vision can be caused by infection of the eye, trauma, bleed in any aspect of the eye, glaucoma, migraine, optic neuritis, blockage of a blood vessel, cataract.
I hope this helps
