Taking Lyrica For Fibromyalgia And Is Feeling Pain. Is This Normal?
Hi Dr. Grief. I have fibromyalgia and currently take Lyrica for it. I had many terrible side effects on it so my doc and I decided to w/d from it. I ve gone from 450 mg. to 300 mg. and in three days I will taper again. I don t feel all that well and am feeling some pain. Is this normal? Kendra
Since you are currently reducing the dose of lyrica because of intolerable side effects, the level of pain that you experience due to your condition may increase as the medication is withdrawn from your system.
You may want to ask your doctor for an alternative that may better suit you.
I hope this helps
