General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Lyrica is one of the medications that is used to help treat neuralgia (nerve related pain) and other chronic pain.

Since you are currently reducing the dose of lyrica because of intolerable side effects, the level of pain that you experience due to your condition may increase as the medication is withdrawn from your system.

You may want to ask your doctor for an alternative that may better suit you.

I hope this helps
