Taking Methotrxate And Humira For Rheumatoid Arthritis. Symptoms Flared Up So Thinking Of Retirement
I have RA . I have a very stressful job. I'm a registered nurse in administration. I've been off work since October because oh a flare up. My quality of life has severely diminished. I am seriously contemplating retiring due to disability. I'm 53 years old and been nursing for 31 years. Is this a common incidence for RA patients? I'm on methotrexate and Humira. Thank You
hi there. flare ups are common in RA every now and then especially during seasonal changes. you need to get your baseline rhematoid blood investigations done and need to increase your medications to overcome the flare up. Tablet Sulfasalazin and Tablet Naproxen are useful. Short term steroid course under strict supervision may also be considered. good luck
