Taking Nitrofuratoin 100 For An UTI. I Have Diabetes Type

Taking nitrofuratoin 100 for an UTI. I have diabetes type 2, and my glucose level yesterday morning was 117. This morning it was 142. I know the medication can raise glucose levels. Have taken the medication for three days out of ten. How do I know when to address this with a doctor? My type 2 diabetes is controlled by diet and exercise exercise, nothing more. I check my glucose level once a week only at my doctors direction.i choose not to give payment info at this time. Thank you! Goodbye
