I have been on pregabalin for 12 months. 600mgs daily. for neuro pain. I tried to tritrate dose down. pain increased. The day after I stopped taking it, major withdrawals. sweats, itchy skin. unbearable pain lower back. No pain killers relieved this.' I want to know it seems GPs know very little about this drug. and were amazed at my withdrawels.'is this drug actually dangerous, or dangerous to come off it????. for as soon as I recommenced usual dose, symptoms disappeared.
Hi, it might be the pain due to which you have the symptoms sweats, unbearable pain lower back, and itchy skin. When ever the itchy ness don't occur, due to the with drawl, but addition may cause it. It could be due to the due to the re appearence of the unbearable pain. The itching may be psychological or due to some thing else. Thank you.
