Taking Vicadin And Heat Or Cold Treatment For Burning Pain In Thigh. Cause For Rashes In Lower Calf?

Sudden onset of thigh pain that did not respond to vicadin or lyrica, heat or cold treatment. It is a burning pain that disrupts sleep. Several days later a rash on the lower calf developed. According to a doc, this did not look like an allergic reaction to medication. Person lives in Texas. ? a reaction to an insect bite yet according to him no bite seen. He also ate raw octopus and other fish at an asian restaurant a day earlier. This has been going on for almost two weeks, Any ideas?

The burning pain in the thigh is likely to be due to methylcobalamin deficiency or a minor nerve root irritation. This will not decrease with pain killers. Proper methylcobalamin supplements and gabapentin will help.
