Teenager. Irritated Armpits, Hot And Stinging Feeling, Sweaty. All Tests Normal. Help
hi my name is daniel and im 18 and just under 6 foot, ive had very irritated armpits for about a month now. it feels really hot and like a stinging feeling all the time. theres no rash and its kinda sweaty but nothing out of the normal. no matter what i wear even nothing it still goes on. after showers it feels a little better but then it comes back. ive been to the doctors and gotten check ups and blood tests but nothing has shown up. i even shaved my armpits and there nothing to see it looks completely normal. can you help?
Hi and thanks for the query, It is important to check and know if you have any swollen lymph nodes, any discharge at the level of the armpits. Proper cleaning, drying and using sweat reducing agents and powders could be initial steps. Knowing exactly when you had these symptoms is important. In case you just started experiencing these symptoms, an underlying disease must be searched for. Metabolic diseases are commonly associated, but functional measures like cleaning, using powders and body deodorants and regular shaving are important initial steps. Kind regards
