Prophylaxis of megaloblastic anemia in pregnancy. Prophylaxis of neural tube defect in pregnancy. Malabsorption syndromes. Antiepileptic therapy.... it has the following side effects : Hypotension, Hypotension, Sinus bradycardia, Cardiac Arrest, Nausea, Thirst, Constipation, Syncope, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Dry mouth, Headache, Anorexia, Hypophosphatemia, Dry mouth, Hypercalcemia, GI irritation,black or darker than normal appearing stools,Discoloration of urine,dizziness .. it therefore clarifies your symptoms except throat pain and blood in sputum ..as it can be for any reason...therefore i would suggest that wait for another 1-2 days and if you still have blood in sputum then visit a physician and go for an endoscopy.. hope your query has been clarified... get well soon ..
