HI DOCTOR.. I M HERE WORRIED FOR MY 14 YRS OLD SISTER WHO IS HAVING SLIGHT SPOTTING EVERYDAY.. JUST A DROP OR FEW EVEN AFTER HER PERIODS GOT OVER 11 DAYS BACK.NO CRAMPING OR OTHER SYMPTOMS.SHE Z VIRGIN AND SOME TIMES INVOLVED IN HORSE RIDING N DANCE CLASSES. ITS FOR THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED.SHOULD I SEEK SOME MEDICAL CHECK UP AND TESTS OR ITS JUST PHYSIOLOGICAL??

Hello ma'am.

At times these things can be physiological, but it is best not to take such a presentation for granted. Most women involved in horse riding or other similar sports can cause damage to their hymen, which can result in bleeding despite being virgins.

I would advice an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound and an examination of her hormone levels. A pap smear and urine examination might also be beneficial to a certain extent.
