hello and welcome to HCM forum,
i would be glad to answer your query, according to the dental history presented by you it seems that something(glue) was stuck between your teeth for the past few days but with flossing it is finally out.
the gums around the teeth might be swollen now, i advise you to visit your dentist and get professional cleaning done, as one of the reasons for teeth becoming lose is, damage to the tissues surrounding the teeth.
also, use an antibacterial mouth wash twice/day,
warm saline rinses(3-4 times/day) will relieve swelling and pain .
kindly visit your dentist in order to rule out the cause for the swelling associated with the teeth,
i hope i answered your query,
i wish you good health,
take care.

Hi,
I have read your problem, you might be having chronic periodontitis . You have not mentioned about your age. Go to the PERIODONTIST clinic, he or she will guide you better.Looking to your problem, to take analgesic is temporary solution.Either go for extraction of that tooth or go for FLAP surgical procedure with bone grafting. Now a days LASER are very useful device to treat this type of cases. Start antibiotic, analgesis ,trypsin ,chymotryosin,b complex and antiseptic mouthwash. Donot insert anything inside swelling, otherwise it will increase. Tooth has become loose because of bone loss.To maintain good oral health twice a day brushing and to use antiseptic mouthwash once a day is necessary and every six months dental check up is necessary.
all the best.

hello and welcome,

since the tooth has become loose from its socket, there can be chance of plaque accumulation.

in the gap between the gums, bone loss and pseudopocket may be arised.

please visit your dentist and check the tooth clinically and radiologicaly.x-ray of the tooth will help to make out any periapical pathoses and bone loss and any fracture underlying.

get your teeth professionaly cleaned to remove the plaque and to relieve the gum infection.

check for the mobility of tooth.if the mobility is grade2 or 3,then splinting with stainless steel wire should be done.

usually mild tooth mobility stops when the gingival swelling reduces and becomes firm and resilient.

swelling at the root of tooth may be due to abscess development in that area.

abscess has to be drained by curetting and then tab.microdox-100mg has to be taken, once daily for 7 days.

use soft interdental brush to clean your teeth.flossing should be done in correct manner, without hurting the surrounding tissue.
if the tooth is sore, use desensitising toothpaste like sensodent to brush your teeth.if there is any erosion or abrasion associated, avoid citrus fruits and eroded area should be restored with glass ionomer cement.
take care.

take care.

Hello
I would like to tel you dentists use cement to fix the crown
over tooth.this cement is very hard .it is the bondage between
crown and tooth.it seem inferior quality cement is used to fix
your crown and the crown does not cover the tooth completely.
It seem food lodgement is occuring between the tooth and gums
causing irritation of gums leading to swelling and soreness.
I would advice to go to your dentist get a xray done to confirm
that your tooth if fine, get a proper crown fix on your tooth.
I would also like to advice do betadiene mouth rinse twice
daily that will lower the infection of your affected gums.use
sensodent k toothpaste to brush your teeth twice daily.
Regards
