hello and welcome,
since the tooth has become loose from its socket, there can be chance of plaque accumulation.
in the gap between the gums, bone loss and pseudopocket may be arised.
please visit your
dentist and check the tooth clinically and radiologicaly.x-ray of the tooth will help to make out any periapical pathoses and bone loss and any
fracture underlying.
get your teeth professionaly cleaned to remove the plaque and to relieve the
gum infection.
check for the mobility of tooth.if the mobility is grade2 or 3,then splinting with stainless steel wire should be done.
usually mild
tooth mobility stops when the gingival swelling reduces and becomes firm and resilient.
swelling at the root of tooth may be due to abscess development in that area.
abscess has to be drained by curetting and then tab.microdox-100mg has to be taken, once daily for 7 days.
use soft
interdental brush to clean your teeth.flossing should be done in correct manner, without hurting the surrounding tissue.
if the tooth is sore, use desensitising toothpaste like sensodent to brush your teeth.if there is any erosion or abrasion associated, avoid citrus fruits and eroded area should be restored with glass ionomer cement.
take care.
