Tenderness In Throat And It Hurts When I Move My Neck
i have been having throat pain for the past 2 weeks. it started dull so i thought it was my sinuses because i usually have a sore throat right before my sinuses start acting up, but my sinuses are gone now and the throat tenderness is still there. It feel like something maybe swollen on the inside of my throat to the left of my windpipe, it hurts when i swallow anything or nothing at all, i can gently press the outside of my throat where it hurts at and i feel pain then, and i noticed today it has gotten to the point where when i turn my head , left, right, up or down it hurts then also. What could be the cause of this?
Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum,
This condition of yours is called pharyngitis. You need to consume plenty of warm water, do gargles with povidone iodine mouth wash, avoid oily/spicy/chilled food for few days and take some pain killers. Also consult your ENT specialist if the pain does not subside.
Take care
