Hi,
Do i need to worry about the below reports ?
Day 7 of induce cycle.
uterus appeared retroverted. uterus measure 4.9*7.3*5.0 cms. Anteverted Globlar uterus with coarse cotexture. 3.9 mm endometrium. Posterioir wall (2.2 cms) thicker than anterior wall(1.4 cms) of the uterus suggstrive of early diffuse adenomyosis. Defined heterogenous mass in the anterior wall mid corpus, region measuring 1.3*1.0 cms suggestive of localised adenomyoma.
there is adenomyoma it means part of uterus inner lining lying in its muscle part...so for this suggested option is surgery where they remove uterus called as hysterectomy..if you are symptomatic you can go for this method if you have completed your family.. but if its an incidental finding and you got no pain or severe bleed during menses then you dont have to get surgery done..thank you take care
