Tested Positive For Pregnancy. Took Levonelle And Started Bleeding. Implantation Bleeding?
Hi, my husband and I had intercourse on the 14 th and ejeculated . I went and bought an ovulation and it came up positive, I therefor went to doctor and he prescribed Levonelle which I took on the 15th. Hence 9 day s later a week prior to getting my period I experienced some brown discharge with slight pink discharge. Could that be implantation bleeding? Thanks
Hi,
thank you query
it is not implantation bleeding.
Implantation bleeding may be an early sign of pregnancy in approximately 1/3 of all women who conceive. The fertilized egg travels down the Fallopian tube and into the uterus, where it implants into the uterine lining. When it does, the tissue that forms around the egg, known as the trophoblast, may damage some of the mother's blood vessels in the uterus, resulting in a small amount of blood leaking from the cervix and down the vagina. Learning how to recognize implantation bleeding may be an early clue for some women that pregnancy has begun.
